Hi
My electric shower is 10 years old and has stopped working so I think its time for a replacement - When I get a new shower - will it be a simple enough job or will pipe work be involved - I really hope tiles will stay put etc.

hi Margaret - I replaced my power shower last year - all the connections are similiar so if a proper job was done day one, i shouldn't expect any complications with installing the new one.
Only problem you may have with tiles etc is the new shapes of the shower cover - my new one was slightly smaller then the old one which resulted in a patching up job with around the tiles with waterproof sealant.
So try get as similiar shower units as possible.
Hope this helps
