Old Kitchen - new doors?

Hi All

I just bought a house that is about twenty years old, the kitchen badly needs to be updated - a few people have mentioned getting the doors replaced on the units to update it and this may be enough for the fitted kitchen - whats the best way to go around this? Any advice?
